Help! EMX GDS view is not working

I installed and patched Integrand 6 EMX on Cadence IC6.1.8. The EMX solver, model generator, and X-section views (both scaled and unscaled) are working well. I tested EMX with a simple single-turn inductor, and the results look good.

But I'm having trouble with the GDS view. The viewer opens up, but the area where the EMX or raw GDS views should show up is just black. There are no errors or warnings in CIW, and I didn't see anything odd in the Linux terminal, except for this message: "XRequest.152: GLXBadContextState 0x3a00028".

I asked ChatGPT about this, and it seems related to OpenGL or the graphics driver on Linux. I tried following ChatGPT's instructions, but no luck.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
