DesignWare (IP and VIP) is becoming more and more important nowadays for IC design business thus for IC designers. Does anyone have access to or have in hand a DesignWare copy and can share with us for practices?
Also please let us discuss on this issue and hopefully we can focus more on IPs rather than the design tool itself, guys!

I don't think it is so important to a circuit designer. For a library designer it is ok, but ASIC designer should focus on the usage of Design Compiler.

Ha!.... ASIC designer only need DC ?
Dont u need to verify your RTL code
ans the SOC system verification ?
Or u just always design a very small module ...
the VIP is very useful for the designer in verification ?
well Maybe u dont need it in the simplae small design.
