T10: How to Understand and Evaluate Deep Learning Processors

There has been a significant amount of specialized hardware being developed for deep
learning in both academia and industry. This tutorial aims to highlight the key concepts needed
to evaluate and compare deep learning processors. We will discuss existing challenges such
as the flexibility and scalability needed to support a wide range of neural networks, as well as
design considerations for different platforms. We will also discuss metrics to evaluate and
compare existing solutions.
