I have to say that almost all articles in deepchip.com are with bias and prejudice.

you will always finding an "objective" comparison test in deepchip headline, and the result will always be that cadence beats synopsys ass badly, including their STA and synthesis tool. but we all know PT and design compiler has a dominant position in the field.

Let's say a real example in my company, my colleague ran a block of 6M instance with the same floorplan in both Innovus and ICC2, INNOVUS cannot  even proceed to the post-route stage, hang there for very long time. and finally did PnR by ICC2.

It's 2021 now, not 2015, ICC2 updated so many versions, no mention of fusion compiler is promising. Let's wait and see.

As per practical knowledge, for a 3M+ design , we had seen better QOR for innovus
