It consists of chapters written by different people.

It contains knowledge from many people instead of only one.

But it is very inconsistent.

Different people may say the same thing in their own chapters.

Their opinions may be different. The symbols may be different.

There is no continuity between chapters although the titles suggest it may be.

I personally do not like this kind of book. I never completed reading one book of this kind.

If I need the materials in any chapter, I can read the IEEE papers instead. I personally like reading papers rather than this kind of one-shot chapter.
